Very much enjoying this little blogosphere theme. Must be quick with my next contribution, as I'm running out the door to the last day of my training course. A Darwin ritual in which I joyfully participate most weekends is bringing home a huge bunch of helliconias - known here as 'crab claws' - from one of the local markets. 'Bunch' doesn't seem quite the right word for such cumbersome and awkward blooms - must think of a better one!
They make me happy. Such kick-arse flowers.
